Preach through the whole Bible in a Year!
(Free teaching series and images you can use for your church)
This past year at my church we preached through the whole story of the Bible—and it’s been so fun and rewarding that I wanted share what we did with all of you. I’ve put below the various series we did, with my sermon titles, the scriptures we used, and the image for the sermon series.
I can’t say how much I’ve enjoyed the year, as well as challenging the congregation to read through the whole Bible themselves. It’s exciting to see people digging into God’s word, many of them for the very first time!
You are more than welcome to use any of these titles or images and to adapt them as needed, and no citation needed either. If it’s helpful, please use it.
The Exodus and Revelation series were adapted from ones I did when I worked on the preaching team at Broadway Church in Bowling Green, KY, so shout out to those folks; also, all the images were made by me or my AWESOME media volunteer Jess Birkholtz.
If any of this is helpful to you, please use it; reach out if you have any other questions about how the year went. Also, let me know: what are you planning on preaching on for next year?
Also: Happy Thanksgiving! (You can read my thanksgiving essay from last year here.)

I know this is not technically a parable, but my friend wanted to preach on it and, you know, it kind of is a parable!
What a beautiful gift to the church! We just did a short 3 week study with our youth on “The Story” it left me wanting more. Maybe this makes its way into youth next year???
